How Does It Work?
The NICORETTE® Inhaler consists of a mouthpiece and a replaceable nicotine cartridge. When you inhale through the mouthpiece, the cartridge releases a controlled amount of nicotine to help relieve cravings. Because the inhaler mimics the hand-to-mouth motion of smoking, it also helps satisfy behavioral habits associated with cigarettes.
How to Use the Inhaler
Use the NICORETTE® Inhaler whenever you feel the urge to smoke. It is recommended to completely stop smoking and discontinue the use of other nicotine-containing products once you start using the inhaler.
- For best results, use at least 6 cartridges per day for the first 3–12 weeks.
- Do not exceed 12 cartridges in one day.
- After 3–12 weeks, you may choose to stop or gradually reduce cartridge use over the next 6–12 weeks.
- The NICORETTE® Inhaler is not intended for use beyond 6 months.
