Caixeiro Organic bag-in-box is een biologische extra vierge olijfolie uit Trás-os-Montes, een beschermd PDO/BOB-gebied in Noord-Portugal, geproduceerd door het familiebedrijf Soresa onder de naam Caixeiro. Deze Portugese blend wordt gemaakt van Cobrançosa-, Madural- en Verdeal Transmontanas-olijven. De olijven worden handmatig geoogst met een abbacchiatore en binnen 12 uur geperst en gecentrifugeerd. De olie is biologisch gecertificeerd, gedeeltelijk gefilterd en heeft een zacht, rond en licht fruitig smaakprofiel, met weinig bitterheid en een prettig peperige afdronk. De bag-in-box is verkrijgbaar in 2 en 5 liter, beschermt de extra vierge olijfolie tegen licht en beperkt contact met zuurstof, waardoor deze verpakking praktisch en voordelig is voor dagelijks gebruik. Geschikt voor koud en warm gebruik, van salades, brood, tomaat, groenten, aardappelen en pasta tot koken, bakken, braden, soepen, sauzen, stoofgerechten, vis, vlees en andere gerechten.
