The Kentucky Mesh Fly Rug Classic combines ultimate fly protection with maximum comfort, making it a must-have for the warmer months.
With an excellent price to performance ratio, the classic fly rug is made from lightweight mesh, which offers fly protection and air permeability without adding unnecessary warmth on sunny days. The light grey colour reflects the sun and helps to keep your horse cool.
The breathable structured mesh keeps most flies and insects away from your horse, while the smooth polyester lining in the chest, mane and tail areas is soft to reduce the risk of rubbing.
Your horse will be fully protected on the body, top of the tail and on the neck, thanks to the detachable neck cover and long tail flap.
The classic shape of the rug allows it to adapt to all types of horse, while the tail cord means the tail stays close to the rug for more protection.
The detachable neck cover is reinforced with thicker and stronger webbing to prevent it from sliding down the horse's neck. This reinforcement is on both sides of the neck, so it does not put pressure directly on the mane.
The front closures and cross-surcingles are silver to perfectly match the rug.
Machine washable at 30 degrees, do not tumble dry. Kentucky recommend washing this rug as infrequently as possible and using a protective bag. They also recommend use of a professional large capacity machine to limit the damage that can be caused by a normal washing machine. To dry, simply put outside on a sunny day.
